BioEntry™ Smart is a new ground-breaking access reader that seamlessly integrates fingerprint and smart card readers into one device. Fingerprint is stored on a contact less smart card and transmitted to BioEntry™ Smart to be authenticated with a card holder's fingerprint. Carrying a fingerprint template on a smart card eliminates the difficulty of fingerprint registration and management issues and enables BioEntry™ Smart to replace proximity or magstrip readers in existing access control systems without any additional wiring.
